ATM (Azienda Trasporti Milanese) has chosen Reco 3.26 for the monitoring and control of the platforms of the main Milan metro stations.

The Reco People Counting solution allows a precise and real-time counting of the number of people entering or passing through the video surveillance area of ​​the subway.

The people counting node sends an alert to the platform (command and control system) when the meter exceeds the "safety threshold" (max number of eligible subjects) previously set by the operator. It is possible to count people using the existing cameras.
The operator of the command and control system receives the alert of this type from a camera that monitors the area and proceeds with a follow up if necessary.
